New car for autistic boy and his family

A family from Devon who were left devastated when their mobility car was taken away have collected a new one today.

The Lewis family from Tavistock say they need the car to transport 12 year old Paul who is autistic.

The Government took the last car away saying Paul didn't need it, but the family successfully appealed. Alan Lewis, Paul's father says it will make a real difference to Paul's quality of life.

A family from Devon who were left devastated when their mobility car was taken away collect a new one today (Monday).

The Lewis family from Tavistock say they need the car to be able to transport 12 year old Paul who is autistic.

The Government took the last vehicle away because Paul's needs weren't deemed high enough, but the family successfully appealed for a new car.

It will be collected at midday from a dealers in Saltash.
