Bristol man jailed

A Bristol man has been jailed for three years for a series of burglaries across Bristol.

41 year old Paul Grady carried out the break-ins over the summer. Police are welcoming the conviction.

The sentencing of Grady will hopefully give justice and closure to the victims of a series of burglaries which took place across Bristol.

With Grady in prison, and receiving treatment for his drug addiction, Bristol is a safer place.

However, the effects of these crimes will no doubt stay with the victims for a long time to come as burglary is about so much more than having material items stolen.

We understand this and will continue to do all that we can to catch and prosecute people who commit burglary in our city.

Prolific burglar jailed for 3 years

Avon and Somerset Police are welcoming the conviction of a prolific burglar from Bristol.

41 year old Paul Grady was sentenced to four years in prison for breaking into a house in Cotham in August. He had a further nine burglaries taken into consideration.

However, because he pleaded guilty and promised to conform to a drugs rehabilitation plan, his sentence has been reduced to three years.
