A woman whose husband was killed by a speeding motorist says she's backing calls by the Chief Constable of Avon and Somerset Police to turn speed cameras back on in Somerset.
Fixed cameras were all switched off a couple of years ago to save money. Now Nick Gargan, and the Police and Crime Commissioner, wants them turned back on to try to prevent more tragedies on the roads.
Bob Cruwys reports.
The Chief Constable of Avon and Somerset Police is calling for speed cameras in his force area to be turned back on.
Nick Gargan is urging councils to make the change after admitting he was alarmed by the number of people dying on the regions roads.
