The family of man who died in a crash on the M5 yesterday have paid tribute to him.
Fifty-three-year-old Trevor Knight lived in Sandford, near Crediton, Devon, his family said:
The lorry driver killed in a crash on the M5 yesterday (October 29) has been named as Trevor Knight.
The 53-year-old lived in Sandford, near Crediton, Devon and was a much loved husband, father and son, police said.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the death of a man on the M5 in South Gloucestershire this morning.
The incident happened about half a mile from junction 14, just past Michaelwood Services.
Two lorries and a van were involved in the collision shortly after 4am, one of the lorry drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The southbound section of the motorway was closed for inspection but has since been reopened.
Collision investigators would like to hear from anyone who was on the motorway at the time of the collision, anyone able to help is asked to contact the collision investigation unit on the force number 101.
A lorry driver has died in a crash on the M5 this morning. The motorway is closed between J13 and J14 and police say it is likely to stay closed for most of morning.
