Family pays tribute to lorry driver killed in M5 crash

The family of man who died in a crash on the M5 yesterday have paid tribute to him.

Fifty-three-year-old Trevor Knight lived in Sandford, near Crediton, Devon, his family said:

Trev totally enjoyed life to the full and never more so than when he had his family around him. Trev had been a lorry driver for over 20 years. It was a job that he truly loved to do and he had made many great friends doing this job.

He loved to play football for his local team until he felt it was time to retire - he then went on to become the manager!

He also loved quiz nights at the local pub, although his team never won a great deal! Taking part was his idea of 'doing something for the community'.

He always organised the local firework display along with his wife and team-mates. Trev will be greatly missed by all his family and friends in and around the village.
