A bike ride has been held in tribute to a cyclist killed in what police describe as a hit and run.
19 year old Jake Gilmore died as he cycled through Bath a fortnight ago. Today his family described him as a kind, gentle man who was full of fun. Robert Murphy reports.

There are calls tonight for greater tolerance between cyclists and drivers after a number of deaths on the roads of Bristol and Bath.
Three cyclists have been killed in the last week alone. Now police and safety campaigners are calling for greater care to be taken by everyone who uses the roads to try to prevent further tragedy.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the death of a cyclist in Bath. Jake Gilmore, 19, was killed following the collision on Midland Road Bridge on Saturday night. The driver failed to stop.
Yesterday evening police officers on patrol found a VW Golf abandoned near Royal Victoria Park, Bath. The car had damage consistent with the collision and has been seized for forensic examination.
Further enquiries were conducted which lead to the arrest of a 52 year-old man from Bath on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He is currently in police custody where he will be interviewed about the incident.
