5yr old fights fatal disease

A mother from Plymouth is hoping that by speaking out about her little boy's extremely rare disease, drugs companies might find a cure for the condition.

Lara Starhahn's son, Marshall, suffers from Late Infantile Batten Disease, a fatal disorder of the nervous system which means he has only has a few more years to live.

Only 24 children in the country have the disease - and at the moment there is no cure.
