Rivers across the West Country have been on Flood Alert all day after heavy rain last night and this morning.
The River Dart was a torrent this afternoon as it came through Buckfastleigh, one of the areas warned that flooding was to be expected.
The river level was very high in Totnes, where it peaked at around lunchtime.
Water levels are now falling and the Environment Agency says the flood risk for the next few days is low.
