The main rail line through Dawlish has reopened. It's been closed since February after the sea wall and track foundations were washed away in the storms.

Rail line at Dawlish reopens

The broken rail line at Dawlish has reopened this morning after being closed for two months.

The first passenger train passed through Dawlish station before 6am this morning from Exeter to Paignton.

The tracks were badly damaged by storms which hit the region in February.
