Couch and Barrow win silver

Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow have won the silver medal in the 10 metre synchronised platform event on the opening day of the FINA Diving World Series at the London Aquatics Centre

The duo had finished fifth in the same discipline at the London 2012 Olympics but improved on that in the first diving event to take place at the venue since the end of the Games.

The Chinese pair of Chen Ruolin and Liu Huixia overhauled Couch and Barrow, who had led following the opening two rounds, to take the gold medal.

Divers Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow will be competing at the World Diving Series in London this weekend. The pair who are from Plymouth will be competing in the ten metre syncro event at London's Aquatics Centre. They both competed at the venue at the 2012 Olympics.
