Snooker player Stephen Lee says his guilty plea was 'honest' after he was fined £1800 for fraud this morning.
Lee sold his personal cue to a fan for £1600 but never delivered it.
Following the hearing at Swindon Magistrates a message appeared on Stephen Lee's Facebook page.
It said: "Well the guilty plead was honest as I took the money from a fan and I new (sic) that I had a plan to be out in hong kong in march to meet with him my self and hand the cue over and have a frame with him......"
Snooker player Stephen Lee has been fined £1,800 for fraud after he sold his personal cue to a fan but never sent it to him. 39 year old Lee from Trowbridge continued to play with the £1,600 cue himself.
He admitted the charge of fraud before magistrates in Swindon this morning.
Snooker player Stephen Lee has pleaded guilty fraud at Swindon Crown Court.
The charges relate to his £1,600 snooker cue.
