Football fixtures announced for 2014/15 season

The regions football teams have found out who they'll face next season after the league fixtures were announced this morning.

Yeovil start at home against rivals Doncaster

Yeovil Town will start the new campaign at home, with last season's Championship rivals Doncaster travelling to Huish Park on Saturday August 9.

They face a local derby on Boxing Day when they make the short trip to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City.

The return fixture is on Saturday March 21, when City will visit Huish Park.

Town end their campaign on the road, taking on MK Dons at Stadium MK on Saturday May 2.

All eyes on Exeter's second game

Exeter City have a home game to start their season, with Portsmouth visiting St James Park on Saturday August 9.

But it is the second game of the season that already stands out, with the Grecians taking on Plymouth Argyle in the Devon Derby at Home Park on Saturday August 16.

On Boxing Day City will have home comforts as Cheltenham make the trip down the M5.

The second Devon Derby of the season is at St James Park on Saturday February 12.

The Grecians end their season at home, with Dagenham and Redbridge the visitors on Saturday May 2.

Plymouth start season away at Cambridge

Plymouth Argyle start their season away at Cambridge on Saturday August 9.

But all eyes are already on the Pilgrims' second game on the campaign on August 16, when they will host Exeter City in the Devon Derby.

On Boxing Day Argyle fans will have to travel to South Wales to see their team in action at Newport County.

The second Devon Derby of the season against Exeter City is on Saturday February 12 at St James Park.

And Argyle end their season on the road, facing Shrewsbury at the New Meadow on Saturday May 2.
