The search for the body of a diver, which was spotted on the seabed off Brixham, continued today but was abandoned this afternoon.
The coastguard helicopter, RNLI crews and police divers were all called out to look for the body, which was sighted near Breakwater Beach on Thursday.
The search is due to resume this morning for the body of a diver on the seabed off Devon.
The alarm was raised yesterday at lunchtime after experienced divers reported the sighting near Breakwater Beach in Brixham. A large air and sea search was called off at dusk but police say it will begin again, depending on the tides. Nobody has so far been reported missing.
