A 42 year old man from Plymouth has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Kerry Power. Her body was found in Tailyour Street in the town in December. David Wilder from Crownhill pleaded guilty to her murder and has been told he will serve a minimum of seventeen and a half years imprisonment.

“I welcome the life sentence today for the selfish murder of Kerry which was committed by a controlling and manipulative individual. The investigation team would like to pay tribute to the family who have conducted themselves with dignity and courage throughout, especially Kerry’s 10 year old son Ollie”.
