An auction of dragons displayed around Taunton Deane over the summer has raised more than 26 thousand pounds for charity.
The statue based on the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge sold for 2 thousand pounds.
The dragons were decorated by local artists and students.
A trail of statues was set up around the towns of Taunton, Wellington and Wiveliscombe.
Dragons are coming to the streets of Taunton.
More than 30 colourful models of the beast are being placed around the borough this weekend. The idea is to draw in more visitors and raise money for local charities.
