Former Royal Marine Ben McBean from Taunton's 40 Commando has taken a 31-mile run through the streets of London, taking a route that forms the outline of a poppy on the London map.

He used a smartphone running app on his mission to raise money for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal. The appeal provides help and welfare to the serving and ex-Service community and their families.

Ben lost an arm and a leg in a landmine explosion in Afghanistan. He now has a career as a businessman and inspirational speaker.
