Hundreds of homes are without power, trees have been blown over and schools have shut because of Storm Imogen.

The adverse weather conditions have brought lots of rain and gusts of winds up to 80mph.

A man has been treated for head injuries after two trees fell on a block of flats in Bristol.

They crashed through the roof of the three story building on Robertson Drive in St Annes.

A man in his 40s was hit in the head and was treated at the scene. He did not have to go to hospital.

Bank roof blows off due to high winds

The roof of bank has blown off in North Somerset due to Storm Imogen.

The high street in Yatton was closed this morning as emergency services helped to clear debris from the roof which had fallen onto the road.

Work is underway to repair the damage caused by the strong winds.
