As many of us prepare to host our own street parties, others are clearing up after a weekend of celebration which thanks to a double bank holiday continues for another two days.

The Jubilee festivities have begun in style in Great Torrington. Shoppers were treated to a performance by children's TV star Wynndebagge as well as Morris Dancers and other entertainment. Today's events were part of a series of celebrations including a 'Big Beacon Party' on Monday.

The south west is preparing for a four day celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Parties, concerts and religious services will be taking place - as the south west salutes sixty years since the Queen's ascension took the throne.
Thousands turned out in Somerset, Devon and Dorset last month when she visited on her Jubilee tour - suggesting support for her here remains as strong as ever.
Over the next four days hundreds of street parties will be taking place across the region, from the small community events to large scale parties.
On Monday night across the south-west between ten and ten thirty beacons will be lit, as part of a network of 4000 around the country. There are more beacons being lit in Devon than any other county.
And a huge range of other celebrations are happening too - including a river pageant in Dartmouth on Saturday and a Big lunch in Truro.
A Dartmoor farmer is going to attend a royal lunch as part of the Queen's Jubilee celebrations next Tuesday. The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution nominated Nicholas Vincent who lost his leg eight years ago in a farming accident.
