Ferry services between Dorset and the Channel Islands have been cancelled today in fear of poor weather. Condor Ferries run the route from Weymouth to Jersey and Guernsey.
Winds of 70 mph are set to hit the West Country this morning.
The firm are expected to schedule extra services tomorrow.
The Condor Ferry service between Weymouth and the Channel Islands relaunches tomorrow after being out of service for nearly a year and a half.
Ferries have been diverted to Poole over the last 17 months after a harbour wall collapsed in Weymouth last Feburary. It has cost Weymouth and Portland Borough Council nearly £4.5m to rebuild.
Over 350 passengers have booked their place on the first ferry to the Channel Islands which leaves in the morning.
