Tributes would have become a 'shrine'

The owners of Freshwater Holiday Park in Dorset have told ITV News West Country, they removed the floral tributes because they did not want it to become a shrine.

22 year old Charlotte Blackman from Derbyshire died after being buried by tonnes of rock following a landslide on a beach in Burton Bradstock in July 2012.

A family say managers of a holiday park have left them angry and upset after tributes and momentos to their daughter were removed without their permission.

Charlotte Blackman from Heanor in Derbyshire was killed by a landslide on a Dorset beach last year. The family left the items when they visited to mark the first anniversary of her death.

The family of Charlotte Blackman will shortly unveil a bench in her memory. Charlotte died two months ago in a landslip while holidaying on the Dorset coast. Her family have travelled from Derbyshire to the Freshwater Holiday Park at Burton Bradstock.

Hundreds gather for landslide victim's funeral

Hundreds of people have attended the funeral of a woman who was killed in a landslide in Dorset. 22-year-old Charlotte Blackman, from Derbyshire, died when 400 tonnes of rock fell onto a beach near Burton Bradstock last month. She was on holiday with her family.

A service was held near Nottingham this morning. Her coffin was carried by her boyfriend and five other pallbearers. A memorial fund has been set up in her name, raising money to support autistic children. Phil Brewster has this report

The funeral of a woman who was killed in a landslide in Dorset is taking place this morning.

Charlotte Blackman, who was 22, was crushed by 400 tonnes of rock while walking on a beach in Burton Bradstock last month. She was on holiday in the area at the time.

The service will be held near Nottingham. A memorial fund has been set up in her memory, raising money to support autistic children.
