In an exclusive interview with ITV News, the mother of a young woman murdered 13 years ago says the news that a former home of her daughter's killer is being searched for more possible victims has shocked her.
The detective leading the inquiry into the multiple murderer Christopher Halliwell say they are extending the excavation at his former home in Swindon.
Halliwell is serving a whole life sentence for the murders of Sian O'Callaghan and Becky Godden.
Karen Edward's daughter Becky was killed 13 years ago - her family finally got justice in September 2016, when Halliwell was found guilty of her murder.
People are saying they're looking for bodies. Im afraid it's not going to be a body - it's going to be human remains, as I had with Becky.
It's pretty grim, but it has to be done if you want the closure.
