Two people rescued from flood water
Two people have been rescued after their van got stuck in two foot of flowing flood water in Exebridge, Dulverton. The Fire Service were called to the scene just after 4am this morning.

New plans to resurrect power station
Hydro electric power could be providing energy in Dulverton again after more than a century. A power station was built on the river Barle in 1909 but it eventually fell into disrepair. Exmoor planners will decide today whether to approve plans for a new scheme.
