Doctor denies sex assaults on women
A Somerset doctor has denied sexually assaulting four women.
Dr Habeeb Mohammad Abdul Latheef appeared at Taunton Crown Court charged with 6 counts of sexual assault.
The smartly dressed 45-year-old, who works as a GP in Yeovil, spoke only to confirm his name and enter a plea of not guilty.
He is alleged to have touched the four women, who were all aged 16 or over, in a sexual manner when they did not consent.
The offences are alleged to have happened between February 22 2008 and December 22 2011.
The case was adjourned for trial on a date to be fixed.
The General Medical Council confirmed the defendant is suspended from the medical register and cannot practise as a doctor in the UK
