The country's largest ever mechanical puppet will visit several areas in the region next year.

The giant Man Engine will be in Radstock, Somerset and in Cornwall next Easter.

The National Lottery project, which wowed crowds across the South West last year, was built to celebrate the history of the mining industry.

The Resurrection Tour will see the Man Engine calling at locations across the county before visiting other places around the UK, South Wales and Yorkshire.

It was named the National Lottery's best art project this year, 2017.
