Work will resume today on the building of a multi-million pound incinerator in St Dennis. It comes after a legal campaign by local residents to halt its construction was thrown out by the Supreme Court last month.

The decision overturns a hearing last year by a High Court judge which threw out the scheme. Cornwall Council says a waste-burning incinerator is needed to reduce landfill. Residents campaigning against it say they'll continue their fight.
