Police say a teenager who has been missing for almost a week could be in the Bath area.

Ryan Ranson from Ivybridge was reported missing after failing to turn up for work at Devonport Dockyard on Tuesday 20 January.

The 17-year-old was last seen on CCTV using his bank card at a cash point machine at Paddington train station in London, on Friday 23 January, shortly before 10.15am.

He bought a ticket to Bath Spa station.

Officers are making enquiries in Bath and London, as well as in Torbay and Blackpool after Ryan’s bank card was used there last week before he travelled to Paddington.

It’s been nearly a week now since Ryan went missing and his family are extremely concerned about him.

This is the first time he has gone missing and his disappearance is completely out of character.

There have been no sightings of Ryan since last Friday in London. We don’t know whether he is now in Bath, has returned to Devon or has gone somewhere else.

We are continuing to make enquiries to find him and would like to speak to anyone who sees Ryan or knows where he is.

Police in Somerset are continuing to search for 80-year-old Ann Grisman who has been missing since Friday 28 November.

She was staying with relatives in Wellington - and was last seen in nearby Nynehead on Sunday 30 November.

Officers have been looking for her near the River Tone at Nynehead.

I'm told that Ann likes walking, she walks very fast, she isn't from this area so I'm just wondering whether she might be confused as to where she is but it does give me some hope that she is fit and well and in our area somewhere.

The daughter of an 80-year-old woman who's been missing since Friday has joined police searching for her mother.

Ann Grisman was seen in the village of Nynehead near Wellington yesterday and officers have been searching the area in the hope of finding her. They are also asking people nearby to check their sheds and garages in case she has found shelter there.

Her daughter, Sue Kemp, is extremely concerned.

Well obviously I'm very worried now because she'll have been outdoors for three nights. She's 80 so... She's just been wandering around. I don't know how she's managed to keep going out in the dark, in the cold. I know it's not that cold but to somebody who's 80 it is going to be cold.

The search for missing Somerset woman Ann Grisman has been refocussed on the village of Nynehead, near Wellington after reports of her being seen there following a shopping trip to Taunton.

The 80 year old went missing on Friday and police know that she arrived in Wellington by taxi with three other people and got out of the vehicle in the Waitrose car park. However, it is now thought that she did not get back into the taxi, contrary to earlier reports.

Ann is described as a white woman, aged 80, about 5ft 4ins tall with silver coloured hair. She wears glasses and when she went missing was wearing a red coat and red handbag.

A CCTV still of Ann shows her on the day she went missing. She did not have her medication with her.

Police are asking anyone who lives in Nynehead or the surrounding area to check garden outbuildings, sheds or garages.
