Tom Daley "wants to return for second series of Splash!"
Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley is said to want to return for a second series of diving show Splash! which reaches its finale tonight.
The Plymouth diver has mentored 15 celebrities over the course of the ITV series, with three contestants - veteran ski jumper Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards, interior designer Linda Barker and Benidorm actor Jake Canuso - left to dive for glory.
After an initial mixed response from viewers, Daley insisted the show's impressive ratings have proved the critics wrong.

Splash! finalists prepare to dive with Tom Daley
The three remaining celebrities have been practising synchronised dives with Tom Daley, ahead of the final of ITV's entertainment show Splash!
They will all be diving alongside Daley, the Olympic bronze medallist who has been their mentor on the show, tomorrow night.
Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards is the favourite to win, after the former ski jumper scored the first perfect 10 of the series in the semi-finals.
Interior designer Linda Barker also impressed the judges.
Benidorm actor Jake Canuso won the semi-final splash-off to complete the final line-up.

Splash! mentor Tom Daley and contestant Joey Essex posted a picture of themselves in rehearsals ahead of tonight's ITV1 show.
The Only Way is Essex star Joey said on Twitter: "Me @tomdaley1994** at Splash TODAY. My BIG day! Gona do this man!!! Just done a practice dive and FLOPPED so bad."
