War Horse theatre production returns to Bristol Hippodrome

One of the world's most successful theatre productions returns to the Bristol Hippodrome this evening, 18 October.

War Horse tells the story of a horse called Joey and his young owner Albert, who were separated from each other during the first World War.

It comes after a sellout tour in 2015 and will run until 11 November, before going on to other cities like Liverpool, Oxford, Brighton, Bradford and Nottingham.

Plymouth Theatre saved by lottery

A theatre company that helps vulnerable people in Plymouth has been saved thanks to a £100,000 lottery boost.

"Our Space" was set up four years ago by the Theatre Royal. Since then it has helped hundreds of people who feel excluded from society regain their confidence. Francesca Carpenter reports.
