Seth Conway reports as a father who lost his six year old son to a rare disease has made an emotional return to the primary school he attended.
Richard Dean has this year been an Olympic torchbearer and he decided to take his torch to his son's old school.
Torchbearer Richard Dean was given a hero's welcome when he returned to his son's former school in Barnstaple. Mr Dean had been nominated to carry the flame for his charity work following the death of six year-old Kieran from a rare immunity disorder.
He raises money for Children's Hospice South West and provides support to other bereaved fathers.
Some torchbearers in our region have put up their torches for sale to raise money for charity. But now some of those bids on eBay have turned out not be genuine. Jonathan Gibson has this report.
