A man suspected of killing his wife and ten-year-old son shouted "I should have died in the fire, I wanted to die," after he was arrested.
The family of a man whose wife and ten year old son died following a house fire - which it's believed he started - say they were let down by the authorities.
Harold Philpotts, who had a history of mental illness, died from burns in hospital a few days after the fire at Trevarrian near Newquay. His brother said Mrs Philpotts and her son were not given enough help and support. Watch this report by our Cornwall correspondent Steve Hardy.

A coroner has recorded a verdict of unlawful killing on a ten year old boy who died following a house fire near Newquay.
Ben Philpotts died in the blaze at his home at Trevarrian in January 2010. His mother Patricia also died in the fire. An open verdict was recorded on Mrs.Philpotts.
It's believed the fire was started by Harold Philpotts, the estranged husband of Mrs Philpotts, who had a history of mental illness.
He also died following the fire. The coroner recorded an open verdict on Mr Philpotts.

An inquest has heard how police received six previous domestic abuse calls from the home of a mother and son killed in a house fire in Cornwall.
Police and fire officers told the inquest in Truro that they believe Harry Philpotts struck his ten year old son Ben with a sledgehammer before starting an 'explosive' fire with petrol that claimed the life of his estranged wife Patricia.
Mr Philpotts, who had mental health problems, also later died from burns. Though he was known to mental health services and his family had raised concerns, the inquest in Truro heard four separate reviews into the case by health agencies had found the violent deaths couldn't have been predicted.
A number of recommendations on how mental health services and care agencies could communicate and work together more effectively have since been made.
The hearing continues.

The inquest into the deaths of Patricia Philpotts and her ten-year-old son Ben in a house fire near Newquay continues into its second day today. Both died on the day of the fire at the family home in Trevarrian in January 2010.
Harold Philpotts was arrested in relation to the deaths but died from injuries including burns and multiple organ failure in hospital. Evidence regarding mental health care in the case is expected to be heard later.
