Torquay came from behind to beat Port Vale 2-1 at Plainmoor. John McCombe had given Vale a first half lead. But two goals in three second half minutes changed the game. First, Rene Howe scored from the spot after he was brought down in the area by Joe Davis. Then, Ryan Jarvis headed the winner.
