MP says scrap "pasty tax"

A Cornish MP has added his voice to calls for the so-called "pasty tax" to be scrapped. Liberal Democrat Stephen Gilbert has tabled a motion in Parliament calling for VAT to be lifted from hot pasties. Last week The Chancellor extended VAT to hot food sold from bakeries and supermarkets.
