Cornwall Council will start work on a controversial incinerator near St Dennis on Monday, after the Court of Appeal threw out the protestors' appeal.

Court of Appeal rules that a controversial incinerator can be built in the china clay village of St.Dennis

The decision overturns a hearing last year by a High Court judge which threw out the scheme. Cornwall Council says a waste-burning incinerator is needed to reduce landfill. Residents campaigning against it say they'll continue their fight.
