Beaver rescued from river because of rising water levels
A beaver was found in the River Otter in Honiton.
This rare sight was brought on by the rising river levels.
Viewer Phil Callard and his son James sent us these photos of the beaver outside of their work.
It was looking tired, and an expert was called in from Escot Park in Ottery St Mary, which has a beaver conservation programme.
But sadly, the beaver died on the way to the vet.
