High water levels have delayed vital work to repair the river wall at Bridgwater.
The wall at West Quay collapsed during Bridgwater Carnival last year after torrential rain, and is still being rebuilt. Today the damp walls showed how high the river came following last week's torrential rain.
Somerset County Council says as soon as the river levels drop again, the workmen will be able to continue with their repairs.
