Torquay woman sentenced to life for murder

A Torquay woman has been found guilty of murdering her boyfriend at his home on Portland. 45-year-old Carol Kemp stabbed 44-year-old Martin Rusling with a kitchen knife after he tried to end their relationship in December last year.

She was sentenced to life imprisonment at Winchester Crown Court today. The judge said she will serve a minimum of 13 years.
