A Jubilee service planned for Bratton Fleming in North Devon will still go ahead tomorrow, despite the loss of two young members of the community. A 21 year old woman and 23 year old man were killed after the car they were in left the road near the village early yesterday morning.
A united service is due to be held on Millennium Green tomorrow. Methodist Minister Revd Terry Spencer says it now "takes on a different tone". Baptist minister Revd Clive Langston is organising the event. He has spent time with the families and says they want it to go ahead.
We will start by remembering the young people and praying for their families and those who have survived. We will then thank God for our Queen. We will rejoice with those that rejoice and mourn with those that mourn.
