Murdered farmer had been burgled before

The inquest into the death of Les Bate has been told he was carrying more than £500 in his wallet the night before he died.

Witnesses told the inquest in Truro that he often carried large amounts of cash as his home had been burgled twice. In one raid £25,000 in cash and jewellery was stolen.
