Museum of the Year Award for Exeter
Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum has been named Museum of the Year. The Art Fund announced the winner of its annual award tonight - which brings with it a prize of £100,000. It's in recognition of the museum's £24m makeover.
The judges praised its ambition and imagination after it created a whole new look for its collection - and found a new way for visitors to appreciate it.
