A man and a two year old girl have died after a head on collision in Torquay.
The police believe a car may have been driven deliberately this afternoon into the path of another car in which a family was travelling.
The girl's parents have life threatening injuries and are undergoing emergency surgery at Torbay and Derriford hospitals. The incident was witnessed by a police officer so the Independent Police Complaints Commission has been informed.
