Hundreds of angry dairy farmers across the South West blockaded the Robert Wiseman Dairy and a Morrisons Depot in Bridgwater last night. It was in protest over a 4 pence cut in milk prices in the last three months. They parked their tractors in front of the plant, preventing deliveries.
The government has agreed a voluntary code of practice between dairy farmers and milk processors.
