A 32 tonne excavator is in position to begin dismantling parts of the river wall in Bridgwater. The final phase of engineering work to repair the West Quay wall is about to begin after a crack appeared late last year. Some local traders were forced to leave their premises.
Repair work on West Quay in Bridgwater is nearing completion. The wall had been damaged in November 2011 after flooding in the town.
