Dorset sailors Stuart Bithell and Luke Patience are going for gold in the men's 470 class this afternoon. They go into the medal race in second place, already guaranteed at least a silver medal. To win gold, they will have to overhaul their Australian rivals, who are four points ahead.
Ben Ainslie honoured to carry flag for Team GB
Ben Ainslie will carry the flag in tonight's closing ceremony. The 35yr old from Falmouth is the most decorated Olympian sailor.
Ceremony to be held for Gold Medallist Helen Glover
Penzance will host a homecoming parade for Helen Glover. An open top bus will go through the town to mark her success.
