Thousands of people descended on Ashton Court in Bristol last night for the night glow, one of the highlights of the city's balloon fiesta.
Around 30 hot air balloons were lit up in time to music in the now world-famous spectacle. Events continue today with the first mass ascent of the festival going ahead this morning - weather permitting.

Thousands have enjoyed the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta despite the winds grounding many of the balloons.
