The skies above Plymouth Hoe will be treated to an explosive showdown over the next two nights as the town city hosts the sixteenth annual British fireworks championships.
Displays run from nine thirty each night, with a full billing of entertainment throughout the two evenings. The event is one of the biggest annual displays by professional firework companies in the UK.
