Yeovil MP David Laws is returning to the government today as an Education Minister.

He was previously Chief Secretary to the Treasury for just 17 days before resigning in a row over his expenses.

Laws goes back to school after return to government

Education Minister, and Yeovil MP, David Laws has begun his first day back in government in the classroom meeting pupils at Mulberry School for Girls in east London with Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.

Laws, who returned in yesterday's reshuffle two years after quitting over his parliamentary expenses, was promoting the Pupil Premium alongside his Liberal Democrat party leader.
