Police have named the five-year-old girl who died at the Lanlivery Steam Fair, near Lostwithiel, Cornwall on Saturday.
Tayla Saunders, from Honiton, was struck by a slow moving vehicle. She was treated by paramedics at the scene within a minute of the incident occurring as they were present at the show on a display stand within 100 metres of the location.
She was flown by air ambulance to Derriford hospital where she later died.
Police based at Bodmin Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101 quoting log number 396 of 08/09/2012.
