Whether it's picking up plastic or even old shoes, people across the Westcountry are being encouraged to take part in a national beach cleaning event. The annual Beachwatch Big Weekend sees volunteers clear up litter from more than three hundred beaches around the UK.
The event aims to highlight the amount of rubbish and debris washed up on our shores each day. Our reporter Kathy Wardle has been helping out at one clean up in Cornwall.
