This summer's bad weather has meant a busy and challenging time for the South West's lifeboat crews.

From surfers stranded at sea, to capsized boats, Jubilee celebrations and the Olympics, the RNLI and its volunteers - in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and the Channel Islands - have seen a rise in the number of call outs to 653, along with some dramatic rescues in difficult conditions.
