Councillor says suspended head was treated unfairly

The former head of a secondary school on the Isles of Scilly has been treated disgracefully, according to a leading councillor there.

Bryce Wilby was suspended from the Five Islands School amid allegations of financial irregularities.

Suspension 'broke the law'

A Department of Education investigation into the suspension of the former head of the main school on the Scillies has found that the local council and the school governors broke the law.
